Welcome to the website of The European Forum for Restorative Justice
The site is composed of nine parts.
The first, About the Forum, provides information about the European Forum. It deals with information on restorative justice as an international movement, the origins of the European Forum and its aims and objectives. Besides the text of the constitution and adopted internal regulations, you will find details about the structure of the Forum and membership.
The second part of the site, Activities, provides an overview of all events and projects organised by the European Forum. Here you can find information on and documents from the biennial conferences and the annual General Meetings. But you will also find detailed information about all the projects that the Forum is running.
Thirdly, there is the Training section of the website. Here you can find information about the pool of trainers and about training for legal practitioners in restorative justice.
The fourth part of the site brings information about the Projects the European Forum is managing.
Then there is the Publications section. Here you can find summaries and order information about the books published by or in co-operation with, the European Forum. Full-text conference reports and other documents can also be downloaded.
The sixth part of the site, News, features a calendar with upcoming events and short news. It is also the place where the Forum's newsletter is made available on-line.
Next there is Country information, where you can find different kinds of information (legislation, texts about the organisation and/or practice of restorative justice, links to important organisations, etc.) about European countries.
Then there is the Reading room, where you can make searches in a database filled with documents about restorative justice and related issues.
Last but not least there are the Links to web-sites of related organisations.
We hope that with all of this we can provide members and non-members alike with useful information and an important mechanism for exchange and communication.
