“Justice denied anywhere diminishes justice everywhere.” Martin Luther King jr.
The restorative justice movement holds strongly that there is more to justice than what happens in the criminal and youth justice systems. Victims, offenders and the wider community deserve access to services that promote a broader understanding of justice, one that includes the opportunity for safe communication about the harm caused by crime and that offers the potential for healing and re-integration. The values underlying restorative justice approach include respect, responsibility, reparation and relationships.
The Forum is dedicated to the promotion of restorative justice in Europe. Research and practice evidence all point to restorative justice as a better and a more comprehensive way of doing justice. If you want better justice you will want to support the work of the Forum and any financial contributions you can make will be greatly appreciated. Please see the attached leaflet for more information on how you can assist the Forum financially.
