Leuven #RJWeek Film Screening ‘A Conversation’
November 20 @ 19:30 - 21:30Free
On the Monday evening of the #RJWeek we will screen the film ‘A Conversation’ (played by No Theatre) in an auditorium of the KU Leuven law faculty, De Valk 3 01.01. The film refers to a theatre play based on a real meeting between two families after a case of rape and murder. VIEW THE TRAILER HERE!
The film screening is free of charge but limited seats are available! Register now to be part of our list of invited guests. You can also come on the day of the screening to register, in case some seats are still available.
The screening is organised in collaboration with Prof. Ivo Aertsen: we welcome students of the criminology programme at KU Leuven to join us for this film screening. Other students, practitioners, criminal justice professionals or curious citizens are welcome too.
The screening will be followed by a brief discussion with an experts in the field, i.e. Kristel Buntinx (senior mediator at Moderator in Flanders).
Please note that we will screen this film with English subtitles. The sensitive contents of the play make it suitable only for 18 years and over.
If you are interested in other film screenings in Belgium, please check our events’ calendar: there will be two screenings in Brussels, at Cinema Aventure on 19 November (French subtitles) and at Piano Fabriek on 24 November (English subtitles).
