Victim Support Europe has launched its first manifesto, calling for the establishment of victim support organisations in all EU Member States and for the protection and promotion of victims' rights to become an EU priority.

The launch took place at the EU Commission’s Directorate General for Freedom, Security & Justice in Brussels on February 20. The first Manifesto for Victim Support Europe was welcomed as “advancing the case for improving the rights of victims of crime” across all of the EU member states.
