Join us in Athens, Greece, on the 16th and 17th of May 2025 for our 13th International Seminar, focused on Restorative Justice for Children and Young People on the Move. This event will explore how restorative justice and restorative practices can address the vulnerabilities of children affected by migration (refugees, unaccompanied minors, internally displaced children, and others). In 2020, children under the age of 18 accounted for 13% of international migrants, meaning that 1 in 66 children worldwide lived outside their country of birth. They face significant threats of violence, exploitation, and discrimination. The seminar will focus on the potential of restorative approaches in addressing systemic barriers and in fostering inclusion, equity, and dialogue in the host communities.
The EFRJ is accepting workshop proposals until the 15th of February 2025 (extended deadline!). This is a key opportunity for professionals to contribute to discussions on restorative practices and their application to migration, trauma, and systemic barriers. |
