I) QUESTIONNAIRE
Please answer the questionnaire below on your contact details, interest, experience and background.
II) CREATIVE TASKS
Please complete the following tasks and submit them in one merged PDF saved under the filename: (your) First_Name_Family_Name_EFRJ_Comm_Off_App via the form.
At the EFRJ, we value authentic human connection. While we appreciate the ethical use of AI as a tool for efficiency, we are hiring a Communication Officer for their unique human voice and strategic intuition.
If your application sounds like an AI, we cannot assess you. We would rather see an "imperfect" idea that is original and brave than a "perfect" idea that is generic. Applications that appear to be significantly AI-generated without original human insight will be disqualified. If you are shortlisted, we may ask you to discuss how you developed your ideas for these tasks during the interview.
1) Create a social media post that celebrates a significant pioneer or proponent of restorative justice and their achievements. Create the visual content and write the text of the post as well. Showcase your post in a way that communicates clearly how it would appear on the chosen social media. Explain on which platform would you launch it and why.
2) Create a social media post on behalf of the EFRJ reflecting on a specific real event or issue that pertains to one of the following (pick one area):
- an ongoing large scale violent conflict between countries/communities
- a structural social injustice
- an environmental harm
3) Create a poster for a workshop on restorative justice responses to institutional abuse.
4) Have you produced any communication materials in your previous work that you would like to share? Feel free to add 1-3 materials (maximum 3) to this document. Please merge them in the pdf as well - if these are online videos, you can add the link, if it is printed document, use a photo of it, if it is more than page long, please select a sample page for preview). This task is optional.
5) Add your maximum one page CV to the end of the document.
III) VIDEO
Explain what restorative justice is to one of the following persons in a maximum ’60 seconds video:
