On this special year we wish to invite our members to actively take part in one or more new Working Groups we are about to launch. Please read the details below and -if you are interested- submit your application form before 7 September.

What is a Working Group?

Working Groups are groups of members convened by the Board to perform a specific task or produce a specific outcome in a limited timeframe. They either dissolve after their task has been done or they are transformed to a former committee of European Forum for Restorative Justice (EFRJ).

What does a Working Group do?

  • Produces a short document explaining the potential contribution of restorative justice in each domain;

  • Works together to develop a specific training of the EFRJ;

  • Supports and encourages research on the potential application of restorative justice in each specific situation;

  • Commits to regular virtual meetings and exchange of emails.

  • Can be consulted on this topic by EFRJ staff and members.

  • Initiate project proposals on the topic

  • Report the outcomes at the Annual General Meeting

How are they organised?

  • Working Groups are composed by about six members.
  • A chairperson is selected to coordinate the group's work.
  • Working Groups are set up for an initial two years period.

What do I need to become a member of a Working Group/Committee?
