(EN) The MichaelDouglas Kollektiv (Germany) and its participatory choreographic event “The Polarity Party” will travel to Sassari this summer! This immersive public event uses movement, perception (or senses), and dialogue to enable a process of collective thinking dedicated to challenges that are key in our societies such as polarisation.

(IT) Il MichaelDouglas Kollektiv (Germania) e il suo evento coreografico partecipativo "The Polarity Party"  si recheranno a Sassari quest'estate! Questo evento pubblico immersivo utilizza il movimento, la percezione (o i sensi) e il dialogo per abilitare un processo di pensiero collettivo dedicato alle sfide che sono fondamentali nelle nostre società come la polarizzazione.

(EN) During the event, participants step into a field of action where choreography and conflict engagement meet. There is no performance and no spectators, instead simple actions such as walking, sitting, and talking become tools for reflection and interaction. 

The hosts/ creators of the project are dance artists who act as guides as participants move through a series of carefully crafted, action-based situations and configurations. Participants are invited to consider the questions: What is polarization? What does it do to us? What do we do with it?

(IT) Durante l'evento, i partecipanti entrano in un campo d'azione in cui si incontrano coreografia e conflitto. Non c'è performance né spettatori, invece semplici azioni come camminare, sedersi e parlare diventano strumenti di riflessione e interazione.

Gli host/creatori del progetto sono artisti della danza che fungono da guide mentre i partecipanti si muovono attraverso una serie di situazioni e configurazioni basate sull'azione accuratamente realizzate. I partecipanti sono invitati a considerare le domande: che cos'è la polarizzazione? Cosa ci fa? Cosa ne facciamo?
