Right-Wing Extremism and Restorative Justice

Webinar with the members of the EFRJ Working Groups on Restorative Cities and on Restorative Justice & Violent Extremism
Tuesday 25 February 2025, 3-5 pm CET

Right-wing extremism is no longer a marginal phenomenon, but it is an issue that involves and affects large groups of society. Examples of these are the electoral successes of right-wing extremist parties in European countries such as Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy and The Netherlands. Violence is not always directly used at the interpersonal or societal levels, but polarisation in society is a tangible result.

What can restorative justice at the conceptual but also at the practical level mean with respect to such challenges?

This webinar is an initiative from the Dutch-Flemish partnership on restorative cities, in cooperation with active members in the EFRJ Working Groups on Restorative Justice & Violent Extremism and Restorative Cities
