The conference is hosted by two universities (walking distance: 450 m / 7min walk):

GETTING AROUND
We recommend installing the Jakdojade app or using it in your browser. It provides up-to-date public transport routes, live departures, and information about any delays or service changes. If needed, ride-hailing services such as Uber, Bolt, and local taxis are also widely available in Poznań.

The longest travel time in our programme is 25 minutes from SWPS University Poznań (Kutrzeby 10) to Zselag Garden (Ugory 97, social dinner). Example of public transport options:

• By bus:
  • a direct option is bus 190. From stop: Garbary PKM - To stop: Wilczak. (You may also use buses 167, 174, or 911, which serve the same stops.)
• By bus and tram:
  • take bus 168, 167, 174, or 911. From stop: Urząd Marszałkowski - To stop: Armii Poznań. (Please note that Armii Poznań is a request stop, so remember to press the “STOP” button before the stop.)
  • Change to tram 3 or 10. From stop: Armii Poznań - To stop: Wilczak. (From Wilczak, the venue is within walking distance.)

The 13th International Conference of the European Forum for Restorative Justice will take place in the city of Poznań, one of Poland's oldest cities, located in the heart of Europe between Warsaw and Berlin. For its strategic position, Poznań has historically been a crossroads and meeting point for diverse cultures, ideas, and movements.

In Poland, the EFRJ has strong connections with members in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Wrocław, and Olsztyn. Poznań has a vibrant local network of restorative justice advocates, including the municipality, police and probation services, libraries, schools, university community and civil society organisations. This strong foundation makes Poznań an ideal setting to be the heart and capital of restorative justice in 2026.

The conference is organised in collaboration with SWPS University and the European Mediation Institute (EMI). Our core local organising team is composed of Aleksandra Dopierała (SWPS) and Marceli Kwaśniewski (EMI). Others, such as Piotr Jóźwiak and SWPS students, are also involved in the organisation.

Poznań is located in the heart of Europe between Warsaw (Poland) and Berlin (Germany), approximately 2.5–3 hours by train, and it can be easily reached by low-carbon transport. 

BY LAND
The train station Poznań Główny offers frequent domestic and international train services (see PKP - Polish State Railways). Cheaper options are by bus (see FlixBus). 

BY AIR
