RAN Paper by Emanuela Biffi

Today is the 17th European Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Terrorism and we share several materials that contribute to the discourse on using restorative justice in cases of violent extremism and terrorism.

In the last two decades there were several projects in Europe that applied restorative justice beneficially to address the harm caused by violent extremism, and several members of the EFRJ have been involved in these projects. The EFRJ has been cooperating with the Radicalisation Awareness Network to share these insights. Our colleague, Emanuela Biffi’s recent publication by the network "The potential of restorative justice in cases of violent extremism and terrorism" gives a good overview of the subject.
